Please note you need to have an active internet bundle before you can browse using your mtn sim.
So, What are the MTN Internet Settings?
MTN APN (Access Point Name) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
MTN Username = web
MTN Password = web
Irrespective of the device you are using, if you configure it with the settings above, you should be able to browse the internet with your MTN line.
How Can I Get MTN Internet Settings On My Phone Automatically?
Text "settings" to 3888 with your MTN SIM card. This Works for Android and Java Phone
The MTN Nigeria Internet and MMS settings will be sent as push message to your phone. Save the settings and accept as default internet settting
What If My Device Does Not Support Automatic Set Up of Mobile Internet?
All apple product ranging from Iphones, Ipads and others does not support auto configs
This simply means you will configure MTN internet on the device manually. The way you will configure a Nokia phone with MTN internet settings is not the same way you will go about it on an Apple iPad. It all depends on your device.
I will not be able to explain how to manually configure thousands of mobile devices out there in this post but all you need to get any device connected to the internet with MTN Nigeria are the settings above.
MTN Internet Manual Configuration For Ipad, Iphone and All Apple Products
Goto Setting >> Cellular Data >> APN Settings
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username : Web
Password : Web
Punch the botton above > Cellular Data to go back.

Note: The settings above are not needed for Blackberry Internet Service, though you might need the settings to get some apps to work. You will also need the settings if you want to use your Blackberry to share your internet connection.
